Silent creed : Ryder Creed #2 [large print] / Alex Kava. Large print ed. hardcover. Waterville, Me. : Thorndike Press Large Print, 2015. 423 p. (large print.) Ryder Creed ; 2 When Ryder Creed responds to a devastating mudslide in North Carolina, he and his sturdiest search-and-rescue dog, Bolo, find a scene rife with danger. But most perilous are the secrets hidden under the mud. Consumed by the landslide was a top-secret government research facility, and Creed has been hired to find what's left of it. Rescuers recover the body of a scientist who was obviously dead before the landslide - killed by gunshot. FBI Agent Maggie O'Dell arrives, and she and Creed become caught in a web of lies, secrets, and murder that may involve not only the government facility, but decades-old medical experiments.
